What is the difference between extracting and splitting?
Splitting divides a PDF into multiple files (e.g. every page separate). Extracting creates one new PDF containing only the specific pages you select.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes — specify individual pages and ranges in any combination. Example: '1, 4, 7-9' extracts pages 1, 4, 7, 8 and 9.
Does extraction affect quality?
No — pages are extracted as-is with no re-encoding, so text, images and formatting are perfectly preserved.
Can I merge extracted pages with another PDF?
Yes — extract your pages, then use the Merge PDF tool to combine the extracted PDF with any other PDF documents.
